Già, sto attraversando un periodo tutto rose, ma volevo aprofittarne per mostrarvi un'altra volta le mie, recise e ancora fresche, e riproporvi la borsa che ho cucito un anno fa sempre a tema rose...

Comoda per riporre i nostri lavori ad ago e filo, ma anche per una brave passeggiata o più semplicemente per andare a cogliere dei fiori in giardino ...

Un nuovo vaso per i fiori con bouquet floreale, proprio nel mio stile!

Trovato al "Tea time" da Mary e subito portato a casa!!

I found it at "Tea time" by Mary and immediately brought home!

Adoro le rose! Queste che sto ricamando hanno sicuramente dei colori bellissimi.. ed è stato amore a prima vista ... Ancora qualche colpo d'ago e presto saranno tutte sbocciate!

I love roses! These that I'm stitching, surely have beautiful colors! It was love at first sight... Just some more stitching and soon all will be sprung!

Fiori e frutta

Vi mostro un piccolo fresco angolo del mio terrazzo, dove sono solita a ricamare in questi giorni afosi. Fatte un pò di pulizie generali, ho tirato fuori una vecchia tovaglia, ho portato un paio di geranei, e piazzato dei bei cucini freschi di lavanderia... E così dopo il lavoro, il pomeriggio mi godo un momento di relax e ritrovo la serenità...

Questa "vecchia" tovaglia risale ai tempi della mia adolescenza; E' stato uno dei miei primi ricami, quando ancora ricamavo su tela Aida... Sono proprio orgogliosa di mostrarvela, sia perchè si è mantenuta bene negli anni, sia per la bellezza del disegno sia per la sua versatilità... sta bene ovunque ed è molto gradevole all'occhio in estate...


Fiori e frutta ovunque...

Ricordo ancora l'estate in cui la ricamai... e la felicità quando trovai il bordino per rifinirla al mercato del paese... Del tutto ignara che da lì in poi avrei girato per mercati ( se non per siti e blog) alla ricerca di merletti e altre antichità e che con il tempo il mio hobby sarebbe poi diventato la mia più grande passione...

Today I show you my little corner in the terrace where I use to sit and relax in these hot days.

After some general cleaning I took out an old tablecloth, carried out a couple of geraniums, and some freshly cleaned pillows for the chairs... I enjoy here my afternoons, after coming home from work, and I find again my serenity.

This tablecloth goes back to the time of my girlhood, it was one of the first embroideries when I still used to stitch on Aida... I am very proud to show it now, both because it has been well preserved throught the years and for its's versatilily.. You can but it everywhere and it is very pleasant in the summer.

I still remeber the summer when I stiched it and the happiness I found when I discovered the lace to finish the edge in the local market.. Completely anaware that from that moment on I would be gone to markets ( as well as on web sites and blogs) to search for antiquities and that my hobby would be than become my greatest passion...

Sono stata molto contenta di ricevere da Claudia tutti questi regali: una deliziosa maisonette con all'interno sutto l'occorrente per il cucito compreso un trova forbici a forma di cuore, un punta spilli con una graziosa casina di campagna ricamata su lino e due saponette profumate.

I was very happy to receive from Claudia all these gifts: A delightful maisonette with inside the necessary for the including a heart-shaped scissors-keep, and a nice pin-keep with a little country house embroidered on linen and two scented soaps . Thanks again to Mary, who organized this swap!

Per questo swap ho realizzato un cuscinetto ricamato su lino. L'importante era che ci fosse una casa e un cuore e questa è la mia versione: casa, cuore e ochette ... molto country!

For this swap I made a cushion embroidered on linen. The theme was a house and a heart and this is my version: house, heart and geese.. very country!
The scheme is from "De fil en aiguille". For Fabiana I added also a home magazine and some sewing bobins.Tomorrow I will show you my presents!

Come avevo promesso sono tornata ... con le bagatte...

Ma non è che sono stata tutto questo tempo dal panettiere, e nemmeno in Francia (anche se mi sarebbe molto piaciuto provare le bagatte originali!)

As I promised I', back with some baguettes...But I've not been all this time by the baker, even not in France (although I would be very pleased to try originals baguettes).

Anyway, here's my sac à pain completete now!
