Blue Belle

Ho finalmente terminato la bambina Hummel cominciata quest'estate. Il lavoro è stato molto meticoloso in quanto ho scelto una stoffa piuttosto fitta e per i continui cambi di colore e melanges. Ma il risultato è appagante e sono contenta di arricchire la mia collezione Hummel con un nuovo cuscino che andrò a realizzare.

Vi ringrazio per i numerosi consigli che mi avete lasciato nel post precedente! ho deciso che farò dei cuscini in serie anche per gli scoiattoli con una stoffa a quadretti che ho già addocchiato. Grazie infinite!

I finally finished the baby Hummel began this summer. The work was very meticulous in what I have chosen a Thick fabric and for the continuous changes of color and melanges. But the result is satisfying and I am happy to enrich my Hummel collection with a new pillow that I'm going to do.

Scoiattolini

Il tempo è brutto, piove e gli scoiattoli di fuori cercano cibo... Oltre alle ghiande si stanno mangiando anche le mie noccioline! Guardate che buffi sono, quello in piedi e quello che salta ad acciuffarsi l'ultima ghianda!!

Questi scoiattoli li ho ricamati molto tempo fa... Lo schema risale ad un vecchio numero di "Le idee di Susanna". Durante questi anni li ho tirati fuori diverse volte dal cassettone, ma non sono ancora riuscita a dargli la giusta collocazione...
Avete qualche suggerimento da darmi? Quadri, cuscini oppure un plaid o pannelo a muro?

The weather is bad, it's raining outside and the squirrels are looking for food ... Aside from acorns they are also eating my peanuts! Look how funny they are, one standing and the other one jumping up to catch the last acorn!

I have emroidered these squirrels long time ago ... The pattern goes back to an old issue of "The ideas of Susanna." During these years I pulled them out several times from the cupboard, but have not yet managed to give him his rightful place ...

Chicchiricchì!! Il buongiorno si vede dal mattino!! E dalle nuove presine in cucina!!

Ho realizzato queste presine con le stoffe prese domenica scorsa alla Fiera di Vicenza "Abilmente" ispirandomi ai colori e ai temi di questa stagione...

Patchwork di ritagli di stoffa:

2 quadrati 6 x 6 in ( 15,25 x 15,25 cm)

8 quadrati 1/2 x 1/2 in ( 4 x 4 cm)

8 rettangoli 1/2 x 6 in (4 x 15,25 cm)

Ho riempito con l'imbottitura e trapuntato a mano.
Ho completato cucendo un bordino tutt'intorno e creando i ganci.

Patchwork of scraps of cloth:

2 squares 6 x 6 in (15.25 x 15.25 cm); 8 squares 1/2 x 1/2 in (4 x 4 cm); 8 rectangles 1/2 x 6 in (4 x 15.25 cm); I filled with the padding and quilted by hand. I completed sewing an edge around and creating hooks.

E' già natale? Non ancora ma mi sono fatta prendere dalla voglia di realizzare qualcosa per le feste che verranno.... Queste stoffine nuove comperate da poco, fanno proprio al caso... Tenue roselline mescolate a tanto rosso, rosa e pois...

Ho visto questi set da colazione sul libro di Lise Bergen (autrice norvegese) "A passion for patchwork" così ho deciso di crearne un paio...
I colori caldi e lo stile nordico portano in tavola il buon umore, a partire dalla colazione, e non solo durante le Feste...
