Swap Souvenirs de Vacances - parte 1

Ieri era l'ultimo giorno per la spedizione dello scambio "Souvenir de vacances e sono uscita stamattina a spedire il mio pacchetto ...
Proprio mentre tornavo dal mio giro di commissioni ho notato che nella mia cassetta delle lettere c'era già una busta che mi stava aspettando!! E....Sorpresa delle sorprese!!
Devo ringraziare di cuore Daniela che mi ha mandato delle cose stupende, sono davvero contentissima e molto onorata di aver ricevuto una meraviglia da lei!! Ero cosi' emozionata che mi sono precipitata in casa ad aprire il pacchetto e mi sono dimenticata le borse della spesa in macchina!!

Grazie anche a Mary che oltre a farci sbizzarrire con ago e filo ci regala queste emozioni!!




Yesterday was the last day for sending the "Souvenir de vacances" swap and I I went to the post office this morning to send my gift. When i came back I saw that in my mailbox was already an envelope waiting for me! And ... Surprise, surprise!
I have to say a big thank you to Daniela who sent me such of wonderful things; I am really very happy and very honored to have receive from her! I was so excited that I rushed home to open the package and I forgot the shopping bags in the car! Thanks also to Mary that in addition to indulge ourselves with a needle and thread gives us these emotions!

I colori dell'autunno

Anche se qui abbiamo avuto un bellissimo week-end di sole e temperature molto gradevoli, si percepisce quella nota nostalgiaca nell'aria... Stiamo lentamente entrando nell'autunno...

E questo è il mio nuovo bouquet di stoffe, pronte per i progetti di nuova stagione...

Anche qualche tessuto per bambini...

Even if here we had a wonderful weekend of sunshine and pleasant temperatures, you can feel a nostalgic note in the air ... We are slowly entering the autumn ... And this is my new bouquet of fabrics, for the projects of the new season ...
Even some fabric for children ...

Una nuova bimba "Hummel"

Lo sapete che ho una passione per i bambini della "Hummel"... Infatti questo è il terzo della serie a cui sto lavorando...

"Blue Belle"... Non è dolcissima con la sua ghirlanda di campanelline blu?

Anche questo è un lavoro che ho cominciato all'inizio di questa estate e che voglio presto riprendere in mano...

You know that I have a passion for the "Hummel" children ... In fact this is the third of the collection I'm working on ... "Blue Belle" ... Isn't she sweet with her garland of blue bells?

I started it earlier this summer and I want to go on stitching it soon ...

Fiori e frutta

...Fragole e panna? O gelato?

I colori del mio nuovo quilt mi fanno pensare a tutte queste cose... L'unica cosa certa è che è delicato e fresco, come la primavera...

Questo lavoro a patchwork lo avevo cominciato ancora all'inizio della bella stagione, ma ho dovuto lasciarlo da parte per un pò... L'estate è stata troppo calda per grandi lavori... Infatti sto andando a rilento, i miei post ultimamente sono scarsi... colpa del gran caldo e di un agosto torrido che a lasciato posto solo a bagni in piscina e scappate in montagna...

Ma il peggio è passato, le temperature ora sono gradevoli e non vedo l'ora di rimettere le mani sui miei lavori in corso...



... Strawberries and cream? Or ice cream? The colors of my new quilt makes me think of all these things ... The only sure thing is that it is delicate and fresh as spring ... I begun this patchwork quil at the beginning of summer, but I had to leave it aside for a bit ... The summer was too hot for big jobs ... In fact I'm going slow, my posts lately are just a few ... The fault was the great heat and a hot August that left the place just for a swim in the pool and escapedes to the mountains ...



But the worst is over, the temperatures are pleasant now, and I'm looking forward to put my hands on my work in progress ...
